Farewell, Western civilisation
That's is, folks; the final whistle, the last shout,
the death knell. When Marks & Spencer starts
using a grocer's apostrophe – or, more
accurately, the opposite of a grocer's apostrophe,
omitting one where one ought to be – you
know that it's only a matter of time before Western
civilisation implodes and we all revert to
apathetically rolling around in the muck, splitting
infinitives and just not caring.
