Frightening farm animals

We received a letter today accusing the magazine of
being rather downbeat about the Mac market. One of my
colleagues, making the point that we're real-world
professionals rather than drooling fanboys, said that
"we could get the pom-poms out and ra-ra until the
cows come home, but that ain't gonna help". I need to
get that phrase into conversation as often as
possible, and I invite you all to try to do the same.
